- CE 498: Traffic Operations
In Fall 2018, I taught an undergraduate-level course entitled Advanced Topics in Civil Engineering: Traffic Operations at WSU. I designed a new syllabus for this course that included lectures related to the analysis of uninterrupted flow facilities, workshop sessions on using PTV Vissim traffic simulator for traffic operations, and a term project on calibrating speed-flow curves using simulation data. This course and my performance as the course instructor were rated 4.6 out of 5.0, higher than the departmental and college averages of 4.2. I received a teaching award from the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of WSU for my performance in teaching this course.
